Delete Your Account

Follow the steps below to permanently delete your ZensNote account and all associated data.

Account deletion is permanent

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will permanently lose access to all your notes, recordings, generated content, and subscription benefits.

Method 1: Delete In-App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly through the ZensNote app:

  1. 1Open ZensNote and go to Settings
  2. 2Tap on your profile icon or Account section
  3. 3Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. 4Confirm your identity when prompted
  5. 5Confirm the deletion request

Method 2: Request via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Send your request to:

support@ZensNote.com

Please include the following in your email:

  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • The email address associated with your ZensNote account
  • Your reason for deletion (optional)

Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

  • Account credentials and profile information
  • All notes, text content, and documents
  • Audio recordings and uploaded files
  • AI-generated content (summaries, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, podcasts)
  • Learning progress and statistics
  • App preferences and settings
  • Shared content links and access permissions
  • Subscription information

Data That May Be Retained

  • Payment and subscription records may be retained for up to 3 years for tax and legal compliance purposes
  • Security logs may be retained for up to 90 days
  • Aggregated, non-personal analytics data may be retained indefinitely

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days. In some cases, it may take up to 30 days to complete the process. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been successfully deleted.

Important Reminders

  • Cancel your subscription separately through the App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to prevent ongoing charges
  • Export any notes or content you wish to keep before requesting deletion
  • If you have shared notes with others, those shared links will become inaccessible after deletion
  • Account deletion is irreversible — please make sure this is what you want
